Good, old-fashioned value updated with modern comfort!
Still one of the top selling exerciset bikes on the market, the iconic Schwinn Airdyne was first released in 1978, when it revolutionized the Exercise Bike market. Patented Airdyne Technology uses a fan wheel to create wind resistance, automatically increasing the resistance as the user pedals faster It's dual action handle bars engage the upper body and core muscles, giving a full body workout. Since then, little has changed about the unique Airdyne technology. But, the comfort and technology features on the Schwinn Airdyne bike are all modern. The dual window monitor tracks 7 functions and the seat is ergonomically designed for comfort.
Performance Monitor
The LCD monitor on the Schwinn Airdyne displays time, distance, calories, calories per Hour, RPM, workload, and your heart rate (using a telemetric heart rate monitor - not included.)
30 - Year Warranty
Buy with confidence! Includes a 30 Year Manufacturer's Warranty on Frame. All non-expandable mechanical and electric parts are covered for 3 years! Labor and wear parts are covered for 1 full year!
Airdyne Technology
The Schwinn Airdyne features patented Airdyne wind resistance created by the distinctive Airdyne Fan. Wind resistance is exponential, so the harder you pedal, the higher the resistance becomes. This naturally provides the right workout for both a novice exerciser and an elite athlete.
Upper Body Workout!
The moving handles on the Schwinn Airdyne let you incorporate upper body into your biking workout or rest your feet on the pegs and let the upper body have all the fun!
Comfort Padded Seat
The more comfortable the seat the longer you'll ride the bike - and the more benefit you'll derive from your workout. That's the premise behind the Airdyne exercise bike seat. It offers the comfort you need to achieve great results.

Features
Performance Monitor The multi function monitor tracks time, distance, calories, calories per hour, RPMs, Workload, and has the ability to display Heart Rate, but you'll need your own HR monitor. Dual windows display two functions at once, with the ability to scan through function in each separately.
Dual Action Handle Bars The Handle Bars on the Schwinn Airdyne swing in coordination with the pedals. This dual action engages the upper body and core, as well as the lower body, giving the user a full body workout.
Ergonomic Seat The Airdyne's seat has extra padding and is ergonomically designed to provide comfort on rides of any length. The seat adjusts vertically with a locking pull pin and multiple hole stop settings.
Standard Pedals The pedals on the Airdyne are standard flat pedals with no foot strap to keep the foot attached to the pedal. This limits the user to being able to push the pedals, but not being able to pull up on the pedals, which can give additional power and build leg muscles evenly.
Airdyne Resistance Schwinn's patented fan-wheel technology exponentially increases the wind resistance the harder you pedal
Floor Protectors Rubber feet on the bottom of the frame protect floors from being scratched and carpets from rubbing, but for even more protection we recommend an equipment mat be used underneath.
